A new CD Projekt Red game, GWENT: Rogue Mage, is out on Steam and GOG

A single-player game set in the Witcher universe has just come out.

The fans of Andrzej Sapkowski's universe can rejoice as the new game set in The Witcher universe has hit the market. GWENT: Rogue Mage was announced yesterday and now's available for purchase on Steam and GOG.

The title takes place centuries before Geralt of Rivia's saga and tells the story of a mage on a quest to create the very first witcher and protect humanity from monsters. As you can guess from the name, the gameplay will focus on Gwent, the card game which made its first appearance in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and inspired the creation of a separate title for PvP duels.

However, Rogue Mage differs from its predecessor. Unlike GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, the brand new title is a single-player roguelike deckbuilder, which will also incorporate strategy elements. According to Vladimir Tortsov, the game's director, it'll take over 30 hours to complete and collect all of the items.

The second major difference is that it's not free-to-play. 😔 The retail price for the Standard Edition is just under $10. The Deluxe Edition offers the Official Soundtrack, three alternative looks for Alzur, and other sorts of in-game content and will cost almost 20 USD. Here you can check out  GWENT: Rogue Mage price.

Would love to try it out, but short on money? How about creating a price alert on GG.deals? By doing so, you'll be automatically notified about the price drops in the future.
