Coming to PC Game Pass in September 2022: Metal: Hellsinger, Despot’s Game

September starts with quite an exciting list of new games.

It's the first Tuesday of the month, so Microsoft has shown off what will be added to their popular gaming service. We learned about 5 new titles coming to Game Pass in September and got a confirmation of 3 more games that were already on our list of ALL games coming to Game Pass in 2022 and 2023. Today's announcement contains only the games meant to appear in the first half of the month.

Today, Microsoft added Train Sim World 3 to its subscription service. The latest entry of the popular railway simulation game series is going to surprise you with its true-to-life performance and handling of the machines!

What's more impressive about the upcoming batch, is that Metal Hellsinger, a rhythm FPS, is scheduled to be released this September! The game, with an original soundtrack created by metal icons, will be available day one in XGP.

Here's the complete lineup of new additions taken from the official Xbox website:

As usual, each of these titles will be available at no extra charge for GP members. If you want to play any of these, but are not a subscriber, use the links from the widgets and pay only one dollar for the first month of access:

Own an Xbox console or want to play some of these on your smartphone or tablet? The XGP Ultimate membership is for you! The gaming service in this tier greatly expands the gaming possibilities compared to the regular PC Game Pass.

And now some bad news. Quite a number of titles are being withdrawn from XGP shortly.

In the time that is left, it is impossible to complete all titles from the list. If you don't know or haven't played any of these games, an interesting idea might be to start them up and try them out for a short time. This way, you can at least find out whether it's going to be painful to lose access to these. And if you find something you like there, you can create a price alert for a particular title on, get an instant notification once it meets the requirements, and purchase it at a price you deem satisfactory!

It might be worth playing A Plague Tale: Innocence before it leaves the Microsoft service. The sequel to that game, A Plague Tale: Requiem, will premiere next month, and will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
