Successful Kickstarter games can not only spur nostalgia or spark enthusiasm by “reviving” long-forgotten series. They can simply bring a novelty that no one asked for, although really needed in the end. The title is a medieval, first-person realistic adventure that takes the player to Europe, specifically to Holy Roman Empire. It’s difficult to survive in this setting, although the difficulty is the key to the popularity of this journey. Sometimes a nice challenge serves as something refreshing and it was certainly the case with Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
