Killer Power – The Nightmare: Dream Demon

Death refuses to claim him, leaving him as a nightmare incarnate, the absolute lord of his victims' dreamscape. The Dream Demon power allows The Nightmare to pull Survivors into the Dream World, altering their perception of reality and making them vulnerable to his unique brand of terror. This affects the core gameplay loop, challenging players to adapt new strategies.

- Survivors facing The Nightmare constantly teeter on the brink of sleep.

- Awake Survivors only glimpse The Nightmare before succumbing to microsleeps.

- These microsleeps enable The Nightmare to strike at any moment, drawing Survivors into the Dream World.

Once in the Dream World:

- The Nightmare can project an illusion of himself next to a generator, causing it to spew blood. His Dream Projection cooldown decreases with each sleeping Survivor.

- Dream Snares ensnare passing Survivors, slowing them. Snared Survivors cannot vault quickly.

- Awake Survivors are immune to Dream Traps. To escape, Survivors must fail a skill check, be awakened by another Survivor, or find a ringing alarm clock, adding a layer of cooperative gameplay to the Dead by Daylight experience.

The Nightmare comes with 3 new perks designed to enhance your killer strategies.

Fire Up

Losing your prey fuels your fury, granting increased speed to pick-ups, drops, pallet breaks, generator breaks, and vaults as generators are repaired.

Remember Me

Become obsessed with a Survivor. Each hit increases the Exit Gate opening time, up to a maximum. The Obsession is unaffected. Highlights the intense killer vs survivor dynamic that is core of Dead by Daylight.

Blood Warden

Hook a Survivor to summon The Entity, blocking all open Exit Gates for a limited time and revealing the auras of Survivors within the Exit areas. A risky, high-reward perk for clutching victory from the jaws of defeat.

The Sleepwalker - Quentin Smith

Quentin Smith, armed with pills and energy drinks, refuses to yield to sleep. He's determined to stop Freddy, even if it means facing death itself. Can he defy sleep long enough to survive, or will he succumb to the horrors of Badham Preschool?

Wake Up!

Unlocks aura reading potential, revealing Exit Gates to you when powered and revealing your aura to other Survivors while opening them, also increases the speed of gate opening. Great for team communication.
