The Gamma Primes evolutionary cycle is a core gameplay element. Bite and transform civilians and corpses into Zombies. As a Zombie, you can be bitten again, and then strategically choose when to fully evolve into a Gamma Prime, wielding devastating abilities.

The Gamma Strain

The world is ravaged by the Gamma Strain, a deadly mutation of the influenza virus. Commonly known as “The Sickness”, it triggered a global pandemic in 2022, plunging the world into chaos.

Genetic Mutations

Gamma Primes are the true survivors, mutated by the tampered Gamma Strain vaccine. Their enhanced abilities make them a formidable force. Each Gamma Prime possesses unique abilities, demanding diverse play styles.

Downed State

Death is not the end. When Survivors are downed, they enter a weakened state, crawling and using sidearms. Gamma Primes can immobilize downed Survivors and extract their DNA, which improves their own Survivor characters; unlocking new weapons, gadgets, and skills.
