Story Overview:

In 2014, a woman's plea sets the stage: "I have no memory of taking this graduation picture. Can you discover its origin?" This seemingly impossible photograph, which should never have existed, becomes the starting point for a dangerous investigation.

Delve back to 2010. Lin Manmiao, the newly appointed president of the struggling photography club at Jingli High School, stumbles upon a mysterious camera and an enigmatic letter during the club's revitalization efforts. The letter's cryptic message sparks an adventure: to uncover the unknown. Will their curiosity lead them to a predetermined fate or pave the way for a new beginning?

Meet the Characters

Lin Manmiao (Neko): A dynamic and caring second-year student at Jingli High School and president of the photography club. Her infectious enthusiasm makes her a natural leader, but her trusting nature sometimes leads to amusing situations. She loves film and antique cameras (from afar!), possessing impressive physics knowledge specifically related to photography.

Su Shan (Susan): A talented and driven second-year student at Jingli High School with aspirations to attend the National Academy of Fine Arts. Her artistic prowess is well-recognized, making her admired by both boys and girls. Reliable, mature, and knowledgeable, she is a confidante Manmiao trusts deeply. She has a fondness for plasters, mannequins, and hair combing, preferring calm environments but not disliking excitement.

Liu Xiaoxin: Another second-year student at Jingli High School and a member of the photography club, she also serves as the vice president of the Literary Society and a librarian. Popularly known as the "library princess" (a title she dislikes), she experiences some friction with the literary director due to her librarian duties. A lifelong friend of Manmiao, she embodies grace and displays remarkable tolerance.

Shanhai City: A coastal city bisected by a central river, dividing it into the mountainous North Mountain District and the flat South Sea District.

Jingli High School & Jingxian High School: Two prestigious schools in Shanhai City, initially united but later divided due to historical circumstances. Jingli, situated in the South Sea Area, fosters student development and an open atmosphere. Jingxian, located in the North Mountain Area, emphasizes rigorous elite education and a more conventional approach.
