The Story – When a Pixie Meets a Hoarder

Follow the enchanting story of Jeppe, a pixie with dreams of becoming a House Pixie – a perilous profession for someone so small. To achieve his goal, he must pass the infamous Pixie Exam. Venture into the vast, wonderful world with Jeppe as he strives to make it beautiful and 'pixie-ish', a task complicated by his encounter with Oswald, a grumpy hoarder hamster who really dislikes pixies! This narrative adventure is full of heartwarming moments.

Family-Friendly Adventure: Gameplay for Everyone

Jeppe & Oswald offers a delightful narrative adventure platformer experience filled with engaging mini-games. Beautify an old house, bravely scare away creepy spiders, and triumph in surprising challenges, including an epic blueberry battle against Oswald! Each completed quest earns you a badge to proudly collect in the official 'Pixie Compendium'. It's an experience the whole family can enjoy!

Cooperative Mayhem: Double the Pixie Fun!

Team up with a friend or sibling in the cooperative mode! A second player can join the adventure as Bjolla, a brave and skilled Forest Pixie ready to support Jeppe in every way. Experience the game together with this fantastic co-op platformer experience!

After completing Jeppe's story, unleash your inner artist and create a personalized pixie as your very own playable character! The customization options are endless. You can also build and design one-of-a-kind pixie doors to express your unique style.

Unlock New Worlds with Pixie Doors

At pivotal moments within the game, you'll unlock the ability to build pixie doors, opening pathways to explore new and exciting areas within Jeppe's enchanting world. Search for hidden door components, assemble them in a delightful construction mini-game, and then customize them to your heart's content (Oswald might even 'contribute' from his collection!). By the end of your adventure, you'll have a complete network of pixie doors, allowing you to fast travel between your favorite locations.

Inspired by a Beloved Children's Book

Jeppe & Oswald is inspired by the popular children's books of the same name by German duo 'Dully&Dax'.. The artwork, both visual and narrative, is crafted by them, ensuring faithful preservation of the book's unique charm within the game world. This 2D platformer features captivating 3D characters. The development and programming are being handled by Redox Interactive in Austria.

Funding & Support

This project has received valuable support, including concept funding from the Film and Media Foundation NRW and prototype funding from the EU's Creative Europe program, being one of only 37 selected projects across Europe.

Current Status

The prototype has been successfully completed, and pre-production is finished. We are actively seeking a publisher to bring the full vision of Jeppe & Oswald to life.
