Season 1 Plot Summary

A secret room murder in Sun Meiqi's house sets the stage in 1990s Beijing. Detective Liu Youth must utilize his sharp observation skills and information from the neighbors to solve the murder. By gathering forensic evidence, he manages to solve the case. He then discovers the ulterior motives of the neighbors, and he boards a train to solve the case in Moscow.

Season 2 Synopsis

Upon returning to Beijing, Liu Youth is faces with several cases, seemingly independent of one another. However, they are all connected, and Liu Youth finds out that an ancient organization is threatening many people. Liu Youth must find out the truth.

Season 3 Synopsis

Liu Youth and Wang Yong investigate a murder together, but Liu Youth gets kidnapped. Wang Yong witnessed the explosion which supposedly killed Liu Youth, but he never found the body. A woman named Golden Phoenix falls in love with Liu Youth rescues him from a dark organization.

Season 4 Synopsis

While Liu Youth finds himself away from the police precinct, Wang Yong continues to investigate the experiments of Qiang Feng. During his investigation, Wang Yong manages to get a message from a mysterious man, and they manage to discover the truth about a person with his help. Meanwhile, after his brother dies, Liu Youth goes to Anhui, receives instruction from the Golden Phoenix, and goes to Xinjiang, where he learns more about Kauryuktag.

Season 5 Synopsis

This season marks a flash back. Liu youth rushes to Anhui to investigate a case, and traces it back to his brother's murder. His investigation suggests that there's a mole in the police department. After experiencing much turmoil, he gains a new sense of purpose.

Season 6 Synopsis

The game now moves to the perspective of Nan He, who investigates a case. Nan He must retrieve an item for his sister, but finds out that the antique store has a secret. He finds a magical device that brings him to a dream, connecting him to his father and his battles. Nan He decides to return to Beijing to get help from Liu Youth.

Season 7 Synopsis

This season features female police Hadow! At the same time, a mysterious organization emerges. Liu Youth, Nanhe, and Haduo each help each other trace the case to Stone Gate. Liu Youth sees "Floating Dream", and Nan He manages to meet the Luo Bin. The director orders Hadow to investigate the Miao Village in Guizhou, where she figures out everything and reports it to the superiors.
