About Development

Pig & Chikin is a deeply personal project that originated as Quentin Burley's MFA thesis at USC. Drawing inspiration from real-life experiences, the game explores the themes of accidents, aging caregivers, and the supportive communities that emerge in times of need. The game features characters inspired by the developer’s own family members. After its debut at the USC Games Expo 2024, Pig & Chikin was lovingly completed and released as a passion project, showcasing a unique blend of 3D platforming and emotional storytelling.
