A: Steam Workshop support is coming soon! We plan to allow users to import their own models into WorldMaker and share their 3D worlds on the Steam Workshop.

Q: Can I import custom 3D models and use them in WorldMaker?

A: Currently, you can use the 1400+ objects included with WorldMaker. Implementing custom asset imports and Steam Workshop support is our top priority.

Q: Can I export my WorldMaker worlds to other software or engines?

A: No, WorldMaker worlds can only be viewed and edited within WorldMaker.

Q: How do I make videos with WorldMaker?

A: While camera keyframing and video tools aren't yet implemented, you can achieve great results by manually moving the camera with WASD + mouse and using screen recording software. Adjust the camera movement speed and use gimbal smoothing in Photo Mode for smoother movements.

Q: Which graphics setting has the most impact on FPS in WorldMaker?

A: Temporal Super Resolution (TSR). Lowering the TSR slider will significantly increase performance while maintaining near-native image quality. This will not affect the quality of your photos.

Q: What are “floor” and “wall” objects?

A: Floor and wall objects maintain their texture tiling when resized, which is useful for creating seamless walls, floors, sidewalks, or roads.

Q: Why is the starting platform/floor not resizable? Why can’t I delete it?

A: While you can't delete the starting floor, you can easily hide it by searching "concrete tile floor," dragging, and resizing it to cover the existing starting floor. Another method to hide it is to spawn a regular “floor” object and put it above and enlarge over the starting floor.

Q: How do I undo and redo?

A: Undo and Redo functions will operate soon with Ctrl+Z.
