Dating back to the 1890s, the Glasgow Subway stands as the third-oldest underground system globally. This add-on brings you the complete twin-track circular loop, almost entirely underground, featuring all 15 stations and the Broomloan Depot. Experience realistic railway operations on the unusual 4ft narrow gauge track, navigating the close-fitting 11ft tunnel bores with appropriately sized trains.

Initially cable-driven, the subway was later electrified with a 600V third rail. This Train Simulator add-on captures the upgrades of the late 1970s, including the Automatic Train Operation (ATO) system, which revolutionized service frequency. Master the second generation of rolling stock, a fleet of 33 railcars capable of operating independently or in formations of up to 3 cars. Be a train driver on a unique route!

Now you can experience the full Glasgow Subway line in Train Simulator. Engage with the complete ATO simulation, choosing to manage the line like a real driver, operating doors and the "ready to start" button. Or, challenge yourself with manual control, testing your skills at precise station stops. Shuttle trains to and from Broomloan depot, use the train wash, and get immersed in the detailed passenger view, complete with dynamically varying passengers.
