Originally conceived from the Advanced Passenger Train (APT) project, the Class 91 revolutionized passenger services along the East Coast Main Line. This Train Simulator add-on perfectly recreates the experience of piloting the InterCity 225, boasting body-mounted motors for reduced track wear, reflecting the real-world engineering marvel. While designed for speeds of 225 km/h (140mph), you'll realistically manage services at 125mph (201 km/h), occasionally pushing the locomotive to its limits to regain lost time.

This add-on features two fully interactive driving cabs within the Class 91, each equipped with realistic controls including DRA, AWS, vigilance device reset, and cruise control. The included Mk4 DVT provides full push-pull capabilities, further enhancing the immersive train simulation experience. The rake of nine Mk4 coaches, complete with passenger view, authentically recreates the full InterCity 225 service, allowing you to experience the journey from both the driver's and passenger's perspectives.
