Experience the iconic SR V 'Schools' Class steam locomotive, masterfully recreated for Train Simulator Classic by Bossman Games. Designed by Richard Maunsell and built in the 1930s, this classic engine is a must-have for any serious rail simulator enthusiast.

As the last UK locomotive designed with a 4-4-0 wheel arrangement, the Schools Class was a powerhouse of its time, known for its use in express and cross-country services. Its efficient running and impressive speeds, reaching up to 95 mph (152 km/h), made it a favorite among driving crews. Now, you can take control of this legendary steam locomotive.

This add-on includes all 40 locomotives built by Southern Railway between 1930 and 1935, each meticulously modeled and named after prestigious public schools across England. Beyond the individual nameplates, this DLC features 10 diverse liveries to choose from, including early and late versions, with and without the smoke deflectors added in later design improvements. Relive the history with this unique train simulation game experience.

Though most were withdrawn from service by the 1960s, three Schools Class locomotives survive today. Audio for this add-on was recorded from preserved 30925 Cheltenham.
