The original Monongahela Railroad, a vital artery for coal transport, served as a joint venture between railroad giants. Today, Norfolk Southern owns this vital route, with CSX Transportation also sharing trackage rights, continuing the legacy of coal hauling simulation. Dominate the challenges of managing heavy freight rail transport and immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of a working coal district.

Your journey will take you through bustling coal mines, notably the key loading facilities at Bailey Mine and Emerald Mine. From there, you'll manage the flow of black diamonds through a staging yard at West Brownsville, ensuring the continuous movement of coal to power stations and export ports. Haul over 20 million tons of coal annually along the Mon Line, primarily on the Manor, Ten Mile Run, West Brownsville, and Loveridge branch lines.

Prepare for a unique challenge: full-size freight trains simulation sharing Main Street with ordinary traffic in West Brownsville! The level terrain and unique features of the track create a great gameplay, with rail-served businesses along the Monongahela River adding another layer of immersion.
