Now, you can take control of this legendary diesel-hydraulic locomotive in Train Simulator.

With a history deeply rooted in the Deutsche Bundesbahn, the BR 218 was known for its versatility, adeptly handling both passenger services and freight operations. This add-on lets you recreate those classic runs on a variety of routes. Even after German reunification, the BR 218 continued to serve, often seen in freight yards or even as a "Thunderbird" rescue locomotive. Experience the power and reliability of a true rail icon in this detailed train simulation.

Though eventually displaced by newer technologies, the BR 218 remains a symbol of German railway engineering. This Train Simulator add-on includes the BR 218 in the classic Deutsche Bahn Traffic Red livery, complete with authentic PZB signalling for a realistic railway simulation experience. A non-powered BR 146 is also included, allowing you to simulate "Thunderbird" rescue missions. And, for a complete experience, a rake of passenger coaches in DB livery with passenger view is provided for Quick Drive action.

The DB BR 218 Loco Add-On is fully Quick Drive compatible, allowing you to operate this iconic locomotive on any Quick Drive enabled route within Train Simulator.
