Based on the earlier 517 Class, the GWR Class 14XX was designed specifically for autotrain services on the Great Western's extensive network of branch lines. This Train Simulator add-on includes not only the classic 14XX variant but also its predecessors, the 48XX and 58XX classes.

This Train Simulator DLC faithfully recreates the history of these locomotives. The 48XX transitioned to the 14XX class in the mid-1940s during experiments with oil-burning. The included 58XX represents the variant built without autocoach fittings. Experience the twilight era of steam as you drive both GWR and BR liveried versions of these iconic engines.

Also included is the Diagram A31 autocoach, allowing for realistic push-pull operation – a key feature on branch lines where turning locomotives was impractical. Explore the nuances of steam train simulation as you master these unique locomotives.
