Based on the real-world West Virginia Northern Railroad, this semi-fictional route transports you to the northeast corner of West Virginia. The route includes a 10-mile "roller coaster" mainline between Kingwood and the B&O mainline interchange at Tunnelton, plus a 7-mile branch to the Birds Creek coal seam. Discover a network of rugged branch lines connecting to numerous coal mines nestled in wooded mountain valleys.

Deliver Coal and Master Challenging Operations

The B&O Kingwood Branch features 14 diverse mines, including both traditional underground and surface pit operations, and truck transfer sites. Master the art of train simulation as you transport loads from the mine tipples to the Tunnelton interchange yard on the B&O's Mountain Sub main line. Manage the flow of empty hoppers, delivering them to various storage locations and ultimately to the coal customers.
