The Class 90 was designed to replace older electric locomotives and served as a mainstay for high-speed passenger services across the UK's rail network. Commonly used in 'push-pull' configurations with a Driving Van Trailer (DVT), these locomotives ensured efficient and rapid turnaround times. Operate these classic electric locomotives on your favourite Train Simulator routes.

Built by BREL Works in Crewe, the Class 90 boasts a top operating speed of 110mph (180 km/h) and delivers 5,000 bhp (3,700 kW) from 25 kV AC overhead power. This add-on accurately models the realistic train physics and prototypical braking system of the Class 90, providing an immersive and authentic train simulation experience. Enjoy features like the cold start option, independent wipers, and LED headlights, further enhancing the realism.

This add-on includes the Class 90 in two distinct liveries: the classic blue/white striped and a sleek grey/white design. You also get a full MK3 coach consist and a driveable Class 82 Mk3 DVT, enabling you to recreate authentic British Rail passenger services.

The Train Simulator: GEML Class 90 Loco Add-On gives you the freedom to explore the Great Eastern Main Line and simulate realistic passenger duties. The locomotive is designed for Quick Drive compatibility, letting you operate the Class 90 on any Quick Drive enabled route within Train Simulator.
