Begin your adventure on the Island of Lindau in Germany, nestled in Lake Constance. Cross over to the mainland via a railway dam and follow the picturesque shores to Bregenz, Austria. From there, choose your path: continue on the main line or venture into Switzerland via a branch line. The Swiss route crosses the River Rhine, forming the border between Austria and Switzerland, before terminating in Rorschach.
The main line takes you towards a slow climb through valleys to Bludenz, embraced by the snow-capped Alps.
