Spanning 70 miles from Asheville, North Carolina, to Spartanburg, South Carolina, the route features the infamous 4.7% grade that snakes up the Blue Ridge Mountains. This realistic simulation will test your skills as you navigate challenging terrain and manage powerful locomotives.

With the Saluda Grade route, you'll command three authentic Norfolk Southern diesel locomotives and experience truly memorable mountain railroading. The climb and descent of Saluda Grade is one of North America's greatest rail challenges which is fully recreated within this Pro Range route. Numerous grades of over 1% stretch the full length of the line, guaranteeing a tough and unforgiving experience from start to finish. This rail simulation is set in the 1980s/1990s and offers a wealth of operational variety. Serve over 40 busy industries from the sprawling rail yards of Asheville and Spartanburg (Hayne), including the Skyland coal-fired power plant and the Cane Creek industrial complex, as well as lumber yards, cement quarries, warehousing, and manufacturing shippers.
