Take command of five classic AT&SF diesel locomotives, including the Electro-Motive F3, F7, GP7, GP35, and the General Electric U28CG. Haul everything from the luxurious El Capitan passenger train to heavy coal consists and urgent mail and freight services. • Utilize the power and versatility of Santa Fe’s handsome blue-and-yellow EMD GP35s in multiple scenarios, including switching work at East Flagstaff on the Arizona Divide and powering AT&SF Train 723 up and over a rainy Raton Pass.
• Experience classic 1960s Santa Fe freight railroading, operating a set of AT&SF blue-and-yellow F7 “covered wagons” westbound on the Arizona Divide, handling switching duties.
• Take charge of a second section of Santa Fe’s famed Train 7 – the “Fast Mail” – powered by steam-generator-equipped EMD GP7s on a fast nocturnal run across the snow-covered Arizona Divide during the winter holidays.
