Originally conceived as a capstone project by four RMIT students from Melbourne, Garganta evolved into a fully realized indie game, proudly showcased at PAX Melbourne 2023.

Our vision was simple: to create a visually compelling game with a strong emphasis on atmosphere and environmental storytelling. We drew heavy inspiration from the works of Tsutomu Nihei, particularly Blame!, whose distinct style heavily influenced the game's environments.
