As the leader, your movement dictates the positioning of your entire crew. While you focus on maneuvering through hazardous arenas, your teammates automatically fire in formation. Strategize carefully: a longer, more powerful chain increases your firepower but heightens the danger when the map threatens to tear your squad apart.

Master the Mechanics of Chained Combat

Managing your squad’s structure is the key to survival in this fast-paced bullet-hell roguelite. Your HUD monitors both Leader and Mate HP independently. If a teammate is isolated or overwhelmed by the horde, they are removed from the action until you can recover them. Enhance your run by selecting powerful upgrades between waves to boost your damage, fire rate, and chain stability. Key mechanics include:

• Strategic Reattachment: Detached squadmates halt their fire, forcing you to circle back and reconnect to maintain maximum DPS.
• Dynamic Battlefield Hazards: Navigate actively shifting environments featuring closing gates, deadly sweep beams, and lockdown zones that force you to break and reform your chain.
• Linked Blink: Starting at Wave 12, use the Linked Blink ability to teleport your entire chain, providing a brief window of invulnerability to dodge devastating Blaster bursts and Hydra charges.

Progression is supported by a robust meta-progression system, allowing you to invest currency into 12 permanent skill branches, including Squad Roster, Vitality, and Chain Bond, to strengthen your future attempts.
