* How to play Abyss Crew?

Abyss Crew is primarily a multiplayer game, designed for 2 to 5 players (ideally 4). While you can start a solo game to familiarize yourself, the full experience is best enjoyed with friends. Thanks to the Friend Pass, you can invite friends to play with you using the full version purchase of the game, for free!

* Can I play the game solo?

Yes, with the Full Version, you can start a solo game and explore the features. However, the game's design shines through in multiplayer! The Friend Pass version cannot start a solo game.

* Can I invite my friends to play with me for free?

Yes! When you buy the full version, you can host a game. Your friends can download the Friend Pass and join your game. Hosting allows you to customize the map, submarine, difficulty, and more.

* What if we are only 2 or 3 players?

A full crew consists of 4 sailors. You can still play with fewer players by having AI manage the Engineer, Sonar, or Gunner stations. Only the Pilot cannot be controlled by AI. If you have 5 players, one can become the Abyss Master.

* What is the Abyss Master?

The Abyss Master is an optional, unique role. It allows one player to control the game environment, adding or removing enemies and objects like mines, oxygen bottles, pirate ships, whales, and bosses. The Abyss Master can control their movements, attacks, etc., acting as a sort of Dungeon Master from role-playing games! Only the host can be the Abyss Master.

* What are the monthly expeditions?

We organize scheduled public plays twice a month. If you're alone or have an incomplete crew, join us for a fun session with other sailors!
