Create Custom 3D Sound Environments

Originally conceived during a period of isolation, Forgotten Soundscape offers a unique way to design and modify 3D sound environments. This solo project focuses on accessibility, providing an easy-to-use audio mixing platform for creating personalized soundscapes wherever you are – at home, on the go, or simply waiting.

Intuitive Spatial Audio Mixing

The game mechanics are simple yet engaging. Sounds and musical tracks are represented by 3D models on floating islands. As you move these elements onto the central green island, they are spatialized and mixed in real-time, allowing you to hear the changes based on their position. Create your own personalized ambient soundscapes with ease.

Customize with Your Own Audio Files

Since June 2021, Forgotten Soundscape has expanded its capabilities, allowing you to incorporate your own audio! Double-click on the cardboard or pizza boxes within the new map to browse and import audio files in WAV, OGG, FLAC, MP3, and AIF formats. Light brown boxes spatialize your sounds in stereo, while darker boxes utilize binaural spatialization. Customize each box's audio settings, adjusting pitch and volume to perfect your composition. Pizza boxes are designed for loops, while cardboard boxes offer randomization with pitch and volume.

Save and Share Your Creations

Now you can save your game progress by clicking the floppy disk icon, ensuring your sonic masterpieces are preserved! All maps are now available in both stereo and binaural audio, enhancing immersion and offering greater creative freedom.
