Infected: Outpost is a thrilling 2-12 player social deduction horror game, drawing inspiration from iconic thrillers like The Thing. Stranded in a desolate outpost, you and your teammates must cooperate to survive, but beware – one of you harbors a deadly secret. An alien threat has infiltrated your ranks, able to shapeshift into its victims. Can you uncover the infected before it's too late?

Gameplay: Unmask the Shapeshifting Threat

In this intense game of paranoia and survival, you'll gather resources, complete objectives, and desperately try to identify the traitor among you. The Infected player must subtly sabotage the team, eliminate the humans one by one, and prevent them from escaping. Humans must carefully observe each other's behavior, remembering that NPCs walk predictably and don't interact with items, a key detail to expose the infected player!

How to Secure Victory

Humans can achieve victory in two ways:

- Disinfection: Successfully eliminate the infected player, ending the alien threat.

- Escape: At least one human player successfully extracts from the outpost by fulfilling specific requirements (fuel, keys, maps) for each unique location.

The Infected player wins by:

- Assimilation: Eliminating all human players, turning them into victims of the infection.

- Generator Shutdown: Allowing the generator timer to reach zero, freezing the remaining humans to death by preventing the generator from being refueled.

Strategic Tips for Survival

- Remember, the Infected can shapeshift, mimicking the appearance of others.

- The only way to positively identify the infected is that they cannot shoot a gun.

- Keep in mind that the Infected cannot attack while holding an item.

- Resource management is crucial. Keys, flares, fuel, and weapons are scattered in chests throughout the map.

- Master the art of deception! Use running sparingly; NPCs don't run, so excessive sprinting will expose you.

- After death, spectate and observe. Use keys A and D to switch between players and gather intel.

- Communication is key. Utilize VOIP for coordinating with other players and sharing vital information.
