Master the Keyboard Controls to Unleash Nikita's Full Potential

Familiarize yourself with the intuitive keyboard controls to master Nikita's movements and abilities:

• LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys: Guide Nikita as she runs through the levels.
• SHIFT: Make Nikita jump to new heighs.
• ALT: Seamlessly transform Nikita between her human and wolf forms (consumes mana).
• SPACE: Unleash Nikita's attacks! Equip a weapon as a human, or utilize her wolf form's ferocious bite!
• DOWN arrow key: Crouches, descents on ladders/vines, and picks up items.
• UP arrow key: Stands up, ascends, enters doorways, and performs acrobatic flips.
• CTRL: Activates levers, switches, and SAVE GAME signposts.
• TAB or "T" key: Instantly picks up any object Nikita is standing over.
• "U" or "G" key: Picks up and immediately uses and object on ground.
• "A" or "I" key: Enter inventory and use, throw, or drop items.
• F1 through F8: Activate items in your inventory slots.
• 1 through 5: Utilize your magic spells.
• ESC and "P" (Pause) keys: Pauses the game and enter the main menu.

Health & Mana: Manage Your Resources Wisely

Keep a close eye on the status bar to monitor your resources:

The golden jar of Seltzer of Life represents Nikita's health. As she takes damage, the fluid level decreases. If it empties, Nikita perishes, and you must restart from the beginning of the level or your last save point.

The mana tree shows Nikita's mana level, which is essential for transformations and magic spells. Actively replenishing your mana through gems, potions, and sanctuaries is important to survival!

Spells: Harness the Power of Magic

As Nikita progresses, she gains access to powerful magical spells, activated using the 1 through 5 keys. However, remember that casting these spells consumes valuable mana and must be used wisely. You can also find magical scrolls, potions, and wands scattered throughout the levels, which allow you to cast spells without expending mana.

Amulets: Collect Powerful Artifacts

Discover and collect three types of magical amulets to enhance Nikita's abilities:

• Health amulets (blue): Reduce damage taken.
• Mana amulets (green): Reduce mana consumption.
• Strength amulets (red): Increase damage output.

Find one amulet on every level, so search far and wide.

Inventory: Manage Your Arsenal

Efficiently manage your arsenal of items within Nikita's Inventory or Pack. With eight available slots, you can store multiple items of each type, equipping yourself for any challenge that comes your way. Each slot may be able to hold more than one of a given type of object.

You can access your inventory from the Main Menu or by using keyboard shortcuts. Use key binds to select items and quickly equip your character.
