A Game Dev's Passion Project: Designed to Never Get Boring

Designed years ago and first released for free in 2009, Probability 0 embraces randomly-generated landscapes (so the developer wouldn't get bored), introduces higher-order enemies in a random order (again, to stave off boredom), and boasts a vast and unrestrictive talent tree (you guessed it, to keep things interesting!). And, of course, death wipes everything clean (preventing you from getting everything too easily).

Unique Enemies and Powerful Abilities

The enemies and powers in Probability 0 are designed to be significantly different from one another. Encounter enemies who devour their fallen comrades and spit their digested remains at you. Face adversaries with erratic movements and those who relentlessly pursue you, each requiring a unique approach to defeat. Choose from ~36 powers with nearly zero arbitrary prerequisites. Buy the powers you want, not the ones you're forced to take. Every time you level up, a new row opens and you can buy anything from any row except for abilities that build on a lesser version of itself. You're not choosing between +10% armour and +10% damage; you might choose immunity to every spike in the game, or upgrade your punch to kill any enemy in one hit!

An Everlasting Challenge

Even after all these years, the developer is still not bored! Discover boss enemies who appear intermittently to shake things up.
