About the Game: Investigate the Abyss

Step into the role of an intrepid SCP Foundation investigator tasked with exploring the ominous depths of SCP-087. Descend into the darkness, where each of the thirteen steps is shrouded in mystery and unsettling phenomena. Strange noises echo through the stairwell, and odd items appear, designed to unnerve even the most seasoned explorers of psychological horror games.

As you descend, the air thickens, and oppressive silence is broken only by whispers of unknown terrors. Maintain unwavering alertness for unexpected jump scares and the sustained psychological tension that will grip you tightly. Your senses will be on high alert as you navigate the depths.

WATCH OUT! Mysterious creatures may cross your path. Your best strategy is to evade or avoid them, as direct confrontation is futile in this survival horror experience.

From the Developer: A Passion Project

This game is a labor of love, inspired by my fascination with the SCP Foundation, particularly SCP-087. The stories I heard as a student ignited a passion to create a first-person horror game that captures the chilling essence of exploring this infamous stairwell as a Foundation staff member. And, of course, SCP-087-1 will definitely make an appearance!

Creating this game independently has been an incredible journey. I need your feedback to make it the best it can be! Share your thoughts on the game's atmosphere and suggest improvements. I plan on developing more horror games based on other SCP objects, so let me know which SCPs you'd love to experience. I’m also personally interested in SCP-096 and SCP-002.
