How to Hunt Ghosts

Face the challenge by following these steps:

• Enter the haunted location.
• Locate the entity's primary haunting spot.
• Collect evidence such as fingerprints, sub-zero temperatures, or signs of doll possession.
• Analyze the evidence to determine the entity's type.
• Capture the ghost using the Dybbuk Box.
• Heed the advice of your benevolent ally.

Each entity exhibits unique hunting behaviors, making every investigation a fresh challenge. Unlike some games, evidence is randomized and not fixed to specific entity types, forcing paranormal investigators to think on their feet. Brace yourself for these terrifying hunt effects:

• Ghost: A standard, relentless hunt.
• Demon: Distorts your perception, reversing your movement.
• Phantom: Turns completely invisible, relying on sound to strike fear.
• Shade: Seals off escape routes, preventing door openings.
• Spirit: Silently stalks its prey, making it difficult to detect.
• Poltergeist: Warps your vision, reversing your view.
• Apparition: Teleports unpredictably, closing the distance quickly.

Your Ghost Hunting Arsenal

You'll always have a flashlight, journal, radio, and head camera to aid in your investigation. In addition, you can select up to four additional items from the Operations Center. Coordinate with your team to gather diverse evidence and increase your chances of success! Use the radio to communicate your findings to your fellow investigators. Work together to uncover the truth and capture the entity. Up to 4 players can participate in a single investigation.

Terror and Survival

Remember, you are vulnerable. Proximity to the entity will induce terror, manifested through desaturated vision and an increasing heart rate. Prolonged exposure can lead to death. Utilize your ghost hunting tools to mitigate fear and avoid extended contact with the entity, particularly during a hunt. A benevolent ghost will provide assistance. Listen for her humming; approaching her presence will alleviate your terror.
