The Michigan Transition To Independence (MITTIN) – formerly known as "MITTIN: Keyboard/Mouse Version" and "Special Education Modules" - is a virtual life skills training resource designed to foster the development of independent living skills. This application provides a library of dynamic modules relevant to home and community settings intended to aid special education transition-related instruction.

Who Can Benefit from MITTIN?

MITTIN is a free resource available to parents, schools, educators, and students in Michigan. It is a collaborative project of the Michigan Association of Administrators of Special Education (MAASE), Michigan Council for Exceptional Children (MCEC), Great Lakes Reality Labs (GLRL), and Public Policy Associates (PPA).
