Strategic Gameplay: Planning and Execution

Each round, you'll enter a planning phase where you can queue up to three actions for each of your three units. Choose to move them across the destructible environments, line up shots along precise paths, set up overwatch to control critical areas, or unleash powerful special abilities. Predict your opponent's moves and prepare to adapt when your carefully laid plans are put to the test during the simultaneous execution phase. See how well you've anticipated enemy movements during an instant replay of each turn.

Asynchronous and Synchronous Multiplayer Modes

Whether you're diving into matchmaking games or creating custom private matches, Synchronicity offers both synchronous and asynchronous online game play:

• Synchronous Gameplay: Experience the thrill of real-time strategy as you and your opponent play simultaneously. Each turn unfolds immediately, allowing for dynamic counterplay and intense head-to-head battles.

• Asynchronous Gameplay (Cloud Turns): Embrace the flexibility of asynchronous multiplayer with Cloud Turns. Submit your plans, and they're saved to the cloud. You don't need to be online at the same time as your opponent. You'll receive notifications via Steam or Discord when it's your turn to act, letting you strategically unfold the battle over the course of a couple of days.
