Located adjacent to the main board, the City is accessible via the City space. Once within its lively streets, you'll have the option to visit a variety of unique establishments. Discover hidden treasures and powerful upgrades within the shops, filled with valuable Objects, potent Spells, protective Armour, helpful Potions, loyal Pets, and other essential supplies to aid your adventure.

Seek out lucrative opportunities! Check the Wanted Posters at the City Gate, accept dangerous bounties, and earn considerable rewards for slaying formidable monsters across the realm. Become a renowned hunter and amass wealth and prestige in this thrilling fantasy adventure.

New Characters

Expand your roster of playable heroes with six exciting new characters, each possessing unique abilities and playstyles:

Cat Burglar

Embrace the shadows and become a master thief! The Cat Burglar thrives on opportunity, using cunning and agility to acquire wealth. When playing as the Cat Burglar:

• When you encounter 2 or more cards you may deal with them in any order you wish. Enemies with the same encounter number will still fight together.
• You can attempt to burgle purchasable Objects, but beware, valuable items require exceptional Craft!

Tinkerer

Harness the power of invention and bring your creations to life! The Tinkerer can transform found items to their advantage. When playing as the Tinkerer:

• You begin the game with 3 Objects of your choosing from the Purchase deck.
• You can convert Objects into automated Followers.
• Whenever you encounter a Construct, you can claim it as an automated Follower instead of fighting it (but cannot use it while it is an automated follower).
• You may use automated Followers to discard cards drawn on spaces and replace them with new ones.

Spy

Master the art of espionage and gather vital information! The Spy can observe unseen and manipulate events from the shadows. When playing as the Spy:

• Once per turn, you can secretly view the top card of any deck.
• You can inspect the Spell Cards held by other characters at any time.
• Instead of rolling the die for your movement, you may shadow a character in the same Region and teleport to their space. You cannot encounter that character during that turn.

Bounty Hunter

Track down criminals and claim your reward! The Bounty Hunter is a skilled tracker who ruthlessly eliminates threats for profit. When playing as the Bounty Hunter:

• You earn bonus gold for defeating characters of opposing alignment in battle or psychic combat.
• You gain gold for every Enemy defeated.
• You win stand-offs during battle or psychic combat.
• You may steal a trophy from a character when you land on their space.

Elementalist

Wield the power of the elements to dominate your foes! The Elementalist can manipulate their Strength and Craft at will and subdue elemental enemies. When playing as the Elementalist:

• At the start of the game and once per turn, you can add 4 to either your Strength or Craft.
• You automatically defeat Enemy Elements without battle or psychic combat.

Tavern Maid

Gain insight and assistance from the city's patrons! The Tavern Maid uses her charm and knowledge to gain advantages. When playing as the Tavern Maid:

• You start with 5 Potion Cards.
• You choose the result when visiting the Tavern.
• Upon moving into a space with other characters, you may force them to give you 1 gold (if able) and roll a die on the Tavern Maid’s roll chart.

New Alternative Endings

Change the rules of victory with three new alternative endings that add new quests and goals for you to pursue:

Thieves’ Guild

Dominate the land through theft and cunning! Join the Thieves’ Guild and amass the greatest fortune to claim victory. Plunder gold and objects from other characters and take their possesions. Once all the gold is yours, you’ll be the winner!

If another thief lands on the Crown of Command they will also roll for the Thieves’ Guild, but whoever has the most gold and Objects wins the game.

Merchants’ Guild

Achieve power through wealth and influence! Anyone who starts their turn without any gold may gain one gold as a gesture of good will from the guild. However, join the Merchants’ Guild, and prove your wealth at the Crown of Command. No one can win and rule with the Crown unless they have 20 gold or more.

Assassins’ Guild

Become the ultimate killer. Join the Assassins’ Guild and rise to glory by eliminating wanted targets. Complete 4 assassinations against 4 Wanted Poster targets and head to the Crown of Command to win the game. Be careful though, if you’re killed you may lose a Wanted Poster from your stash.
