Unique Starting Item and Abilities

The Samurai begins the game with a Sword, drawn from the Purchase deck, granting an immediate edge in early encounters. If disarmed, a free replacement can be obtained by visiting the Castle.

Utilize 'kyujutsu' at the beginning of battle! Discard 1 gold to roll a die and add the result to your attack score, bolstering your offensive capabilities. This can only be done once per battle to ensure tactical choices must be made.

Show off your 'yu' and offer aid to other characters engaged in battle within your Region! Move to their space and add your Strength to their attack score. If the enemy falls, you receive a reward of 1 gold, ensuring your good deed is rightly compensated.

Defend yourself with jujutsu! Whenever attacked by another character, add your Craft value to your attack score, turning defense into a potent counter-offensive.
