Arcane Scion - New Character

Harnessing the magical energies unleashed by the Cataclysm, the young Arcane Scion wields Magic Objects and casts powerful Spells.

• Begins the game with 2 Spells.
• Can secretly view another character's spells and steal one Spell or Magic Object.
• Gains 1 Spell whenever any character gains Craft (if Craft allows).
• Can discard 1 Spell or Magic Object to modify a dice roll by 1.

Barbarian - New Character

Feared for his brute strength and resistance to magic, the Barbarian starts with a Greatsword and is a formidable warrior.

• Begins the game with a Greatsword.
• Cannot have or gain Spells and cannot be affected by them.
• Has a chance to resist life loss from Psychic Combat.
• Can heal at the Crags instead of rolling the die.

Black Knight - New Character

A villainous figure in the world of Talisman, the Black Knight uses intimidation to get what he wants.

• Begins the game with a Spiked Shield.
• Can threaten other characters, forcing them to pay gold or lose a life.
• Can heal to full life at the Castle instead of encountering the space normally.

Mutant - New Character

Constantly adapting to the changing world, the Mutant's Strength, Craft, and Fate are in perpetual flux.

• Rolls on the Mutant's chart at the beginning of the game to determine the starting bonus.
• Can lose 2 life to mutate, rolling 2 dice on the chart.
• Can cancel being turned into a Toad by losing 1 life instead.

Scavenger - New Character

A survivor of the Cataclysm, the Scavenger excels at finding and collecting Objects.

• Places the top 5 cards of the Remnant deck into the Adventure discard pile at the start of the game.
• Can carry any number of Objects.
• Treats all Objects as if they had an encounter number of 1.
• Can stash one Object, protected from loss in battle.
• Can Scavenge (draw an Object from the Adventure discard pile) instead of moving when rolling a 1.
