9Grids VR: A Fast-Paced VR Arcade Experience

Immerse yourself in 9Grids VR, an adrenaline-pumping arcade-style VR game built for the HTC Vive! Experience a unique blend of whack-a-mole action and dodgeball intensity set in a post-apocalyptic world. Please note: An HTC Vive is required to play.

Slash and blast through hordes of enemies while strategically dodging their attacks using the innovative 9 Grids movement system. Physical movement is key as you hop between locations to survive!

Key Features:

Currently featuring two distinct worlds, each offering five challenging levels. Each level delivers approximately 3 minutes of fast-paced gameplay.

Gameplay Highlights:

▪ Aim for the highest kill score with the least amount of damage taken.

▪ Face waves of enemies with progressively increasing difficulty.

▪ Conquer a formidable boss at the end of each level.

[To start a round, use your weapon to touch the 'Start' button. Then, use your weapon to hit the level orbs orbiting around you. To switch between worlds, press the top left touchpad button.]

Innovative Movement Mechanics:

▪ Navigate using 9 distinct locations (logs or rocks), allowing you to quickly dodge incoming projectiles.

▪ The layout of these 9 locations is designed to resemble a numpad for easy navigation.

▪ Enemies spawn in a separate set of 9 locations directly in front of you.

Two movement options are available:

Basic - Press the trigger and physically move to hop to the next location in the game.

Auto - Trigger button is not required before each hop for a more fluid movement experience.

Dynamic Attack Systems:

Sword: Unleash devastating sword arcs by slashing from up to down (vertically or diagonally) or from right to left.

Hammer (Experimental): Perform a hammer motion - raise the hammer high and strike downwards – to call down powerful lightning strikes.

Gauntlet (Experimental): Execute a punching motion - from back to forwards – to fire concentrated bursts of energy punches.

Each weapon features unique hit radius and damage values. You can even wield two different weapons simultaneously for strategic combat combinations.

Developer's Comments

The game is still in development and may contain some bugs. We've priced the game with the intention of increasing it in the future as we add more content updates. Consider this as an early access title or pre-order. All proceeds will go towards further game development.

Early adopters will receive free content updates. However, future updates depend on community engagement and interest in the genre, and there is a risk of decreased content support if interest is low.
