Emotes are full body animations, allowing for a greater range of expression. Remember that emotes outside of the Main base will only play in first person, maintaining tactical awareness. Gestures, performed in first-person, can be used while moving and even from the safety of rear compartment seats, keeping you connected and communicative even on the move.
