Discover and unlock over 30 unique weapons, leading to a staggering 5000+ combinations! Customize Sunny's loadout in the pause menu to strategize and conquer any obstacle the game throws your way. Experience burst-damage shooting with no automatics, encouraging tactical weapon choices.

You'll start with three stock weapons and can even explore "Mat Hatted Classics," six levels from the beta where you can unlock dapper hats for Sunny to wear, adding a touch of personalization to your avian hero!

Unlike traditional run-and-gun games, BIRBOUT! emphasizes strategic weapon usage. Learn to counter enemy attacks by familiarizing yourself with their weaponry before wielding it yourself!

Replenish your health by gobbling up seeds dropped by enemies or hidden in secret mini-screens. Permanent weapon pickups await at the end of each stage. Use Warp Nests to quickly navigate levels and Checkpoint Birdbaths to either set your starting point or smash them open for a hearty health boost and bonus rewards.
