Race Through Three Unique Tracks

Each racetrack in represents a different, fun-themed area of the carnival. Start your journey in "Whirling Welcome," navigating tight turns around a mesmerizing merry-go-round. Then, dodge the unpredictable surge of giant wack-a-moles, ride a steep roller coaster, then propel through a thrilling ring of fire and launch into the Big Top circus tent!

Master Each Bumper Car

Fastival offers four distinct bumper car types, each with its advantages and disadvantages. The aggressive-handling Shark is suited for experienced players, with blistering speeds but a high learning curve. Want to play it safer? The slower and heavier Vintage makes drifting an integral part of its core toolkit, granting it an edge in any tight situation.

Knock Down Targets to Affect the Race

Gain a strategic advantage in Fastival by interacting with the environment. Strategically smash targets during races, triggering temporary track effects. Choose a shorter path by clearing an obstacle, or setting a deadly hazard for other drivers. This action-packed racing game introduces strategic elements, putting both track knowledge and environmental adaptation to the test.

Use Items to Take Out the Competition

Collect carnival tickets as you race and transform them into one of five crazy items. Power up to gain temporary invincibility with the firecracker or bombard enemies with a volley of spinning water balloons, the choice's yours! Fastival features various power-ups ensuring a chaotic edge-of-your-seat race.

Customize Your Racer

Express your unique style by mixing and matching four quirky costumes and color palettes. Personalize your racer and stand out from the competition!

Developer Notes

Fastival was lovingly crafted by the students of Cohort 33 at SMU Guildhall, a renowned graduate video game design program in Dallas, Texas. As part of their Team Game Project course ("TGP2"), 47 incredibly talented students assembled from all disciplines within game creation—Art, Programming, Design, & Production—with support from three master game music creators from SMU's Meadows School of the Arts, brought their collective passion and dedication to life in this game.
