Story

In the distant future, a cataclysmic war has ravaged the Earth, leaving behind a desolate landscape. Amidst the ruins, a Phiroid, an emotions-capable robot created as a partner for humans, awakens in a dilapidated factory. However, this Phiroid, named Rei, discovers his emotions are non-functional, and his manufacturing process was left incomplete. Driven by an innate desire to connect with humans, Rei begins a journey across the wasteland. His path crosses with Shiona, a kind young girl, who takes him in, believing him to be human. Living alongside Shiona, Rei slowly begins to learn about emotions in this moving and visual storytelling experience.

"The Emotionless Mechanical Boy" Rei

Rei woke up in a factory in ruins. Abandoned mid-production, his right hand lacks artificial skin, the machinery exposed and covered by a glove. Driven by his desire to be with humans, he wanders the landscape when he is discovered by Shiona, who gives him his name and his new life.

"The Girl who Sings her Feelings" Shiona (CV: Kaori Mizuhashi)

Shiona is the optimistic young girl who discovers Rei. Living in a church in a makeshift town, she tries to console who surrounds her. She describes feelings and emotions with shapes and colors, something that can be difficult to follow. She sings in the church and the town square.

"The Blue Little Lady from the Library" Tipi (CV: Misaki Kuno)

Tipi lives in the town's library, often found crying. Shiona refers to her as the "blue girl".
