Each turn in Need For Conquest consists of three crucial phases: draft, attack, and move. Reinforce your territories, launch strategic assaults, and redeploy your armies to solidify your control. If you need guidance at any stage, simply press the "?" button for helpful tips.

Every territory possesses a certain amount of coins and stones that you can fine-tune in our map editor. The number of coins determines the number of armies you can draft each round, while stones enhance the armor of your defending forces.

In Need For Conquest, challenge yourself against advanced AI opponents (up to 11 computer players), selectable from three difficulty levels: Monkey AI, Colonel AI, and Marshal AI. Compete with friends and family in exciting hot-seat multiplayer matches on the same PC.

Choose Your Game Mode

Two distinct game modes offer different strategic experiences:

• Classic: Unleash relentless assaults, attacking as many times as possible per round, followed by a single army movement during the move phase.
• Conquer: A slower-paced, more realistic style of gameplay where each army can only perform one attack or one move (exclusively) each round.

Experience refined battle mechanics that reward strategic advantage. The greater your numerical superiority, the less damage your armies will sustain when overwhelming defending forces.

Create Your Own Campaigns

Unleash your creativity with the built-in map editor, allowing you to modify existing maps or design entirely new strategic scenarios. To play your custom maps, simply edit them in "Map Editor" and select the "User Defined" scenario after clicking "New Game" in the "Main Menu". Define territorial links, allocate coins and stones, assign territories to players, and set initial army counts. With the ability to create a virtually infinite number of games, Need For Conquest ensures endless strategic possibilities.
