As a newly assigned Subterranaut for the Association of Scrap Allocation, you'll descend into the dark, forgotten depths beneath a desolate wasteland. This isn't the glamorous role you envisioned, but it's your only chance.

Navigate the Wasteland by Train

Your journey begins aboard the train, your mobile base of operations. Chart your course through abandoned stations, each a potential goldmine of valuable scrap. Don't expect explanations or reasons; simply follow orders and delve deeper into the unknown. Strategic train management is key to survival, ensuring you have a safe route and a means of escape.

Scavenge, Survive, and Supply

Once the elevator plunges you into the darkness, you'll explore the decaying remains of long-lost facilities. What you discover along your scavenging expeditions will be determined by perseverance and a little bit of luck. The only thing that matters is returning with usable scrap. Your survival depends on effectively managing your resources and skillfully navigating the hazardous environments below. Otherwise someone else can take your place.

Teamwork and Isolation

You're not entirely alone down there. Maintain radio contact with your team, though direct assistance is unlikely. Control vital functions like bulkheads, cameras, and lights from the train's terminal. However, be warned: failure could mean being left behind when the day is done. This is not a co-op game in the traditional meaning, your team will be just on the radio.

The Association Demands Scrap

Resource gathering is paramount. The more scrap you recover, the more you justify your existence. Failure is not an option, but the Association will ensure the scrap is delivered, with or without you. Brace yourself for danger, as your survival is secondary. The Association accepts losses, and unfortunately, you're already accounted for during risk assessments.
