Choose Your Viking Commander

Select your champion from a roster of legendary Vikings: Gunnar the Great, Freya the Fearless, Axel the Atrocious, or Olli the Odious. Customize your matches by choosing each player to be controlled by a human or cunning CPU opponent. Engage in exhilarating 1v1 skirmishes or team up for strategic 2v2 battles in this engaging hotseat strategy game.

Team up with friends or family for exciting 2 vs 2 campaigns in hotseat mode. Engage in tactical planning and coordinated attacks to defeat your opponents. But beware; this is a FUN game that can start lots of arguments!

Master the Viking Battlefield

VIKING WARRIORS: Your most important resource! Use them to fight enemies and capture enemy Castles. Board a longboat to become an archer from the sea!

VIKING LONGBOATS: Utilize longboats to transport your armies across the fjord, raining arrows upon your enemies from the sea. Strategically positioned longboats can be the key to victory.

CATAPULTS: Control the battlefield with powerful catapults. Move and fire them each turn, selecting both direction and distance to maximize their impact. Demolish enemy defenses and disrupt their plans.

DRINKING HORNS: Beware the intoxicating effects of Viking ale! If a Viking stumbles upon a drinking horn and empties it, they will become uncontrollable, adding an element of chaos to the battlefield!

GOLD: Each human player begins with 50 gold coins. Spend wisely to acquire longboats, catapults, and recruit new armies to bolster your forces. Increase your wealth by transporting treasure from chests back to your castle.

• The Explorer: Dominates the seas with fleets of longboats to scout and conquer.
• The Socialite: Relies on drunken Viking armies to sow chaos and confusion.
• Tea-Totaller: Destroys the evil drinking horns using catapults
• Stone Thrower: Builds a siege force of multiple catapults, to destrpoy all in their path.
• The Techno-Phobe: Ignores advanced catapult technology, relying on brute force.
• The Watcher: Bides their time, amassing a powerful army while others weaken.
• The Hoarder: Focuses on collecting treasure to fuel their war machine.
• The Spoiler: Sabotages opponents by targeting their treasure chests with catapult fire.
• The Bridgedeer: Constructs static bridges with longboats to facilitate army movement.
• The Unlikely Hero: A drunken Viking can cause significant, unpredictable events
• The Troublemaker: Attacks any other players during certain turns.

Conquer the Fjord: How to Play

Buy Mode:

- Buy plenty of units!

- Buy will only populate areas around your Castle - so don't loiter!!!

- You start with 50 gold pieces, but you can get more!

Move Turn:

- Position units to defend your castle.

- Attack other enemy units

- Storm defenses with longboats

- Take over the castle and remaining enemy units will join forces with yours

Maneuvering your Units to gain the advantage, takes some brain power. As unit movement order plays a part in your tactics.

- Vikings: move turn [Keys / Mouse]

Pick Direction and then Distance

(Press E to end the Viking move turn early)

- Boats: move turn

(If Occupied) can move - provided it is not blocked, and the boat is always on some water

- Longboats: firing turn

[Keys / Mouse] Pick Direction and then Distance

(Press [space] or E to end for a firing turn for a longboat)

To defeat an opponent, you must conquer their castle in brutal battles. As in real history, this may take multiple attempts. All defeated armies, longboats, and catapults belong to the person who wins.

The ULTIMATE WINNER is the player with the last castle and all the pieces. Can you conquer all?
