Deckline is based on the popular card game Durak. Here's a quick rundown of the rules you'll encounter:

• Starting Hand: Each player begins with 6 cards drawn from a 36-card deck.

• Trump Suit: A trump suit is selected, holding the highest value for defense.

• Attacking and Defending: Players take turns attacking with cards, while others defend by playing higher-ranking cards of the same suit or trump cards.

• Drawing Cards: After each turn, players replenish their hand to 6 cards from the deck.

• Winning the Game: The ultimate goal is to be the first player to empty their hand of all cards, escaping the horrors of Deckline, at least for now.

• Attack Mechanics: The attacker starts by placing cards of the same rank. The defender must beat them.

• Trump Supremacy: Trump cards can only be defeated by higher trump cards.

• Role Reversal: A successful defense switches roles; a failed defense forces the defender to pick up the cards.

• Continuing the Cycle: The attacking & defending cycle goes on up until only 1 player has cards or the deck is empty.
