Background

Meanwhile, Nakai The Wanderer, a revered Kroxigor and living legend, roams Lustria, guided by the Great Plan of the Old Ones. With the jungles under threat once again, Nakai must rouse the Dread Saurians and defend the land from usurpers in this fantasy strategy epic!

Markus Wulfhart (The Huntsmarshal’s Expedition)

Unique Faction Mechanics:

Emperor's Mandate: As Wulfhart establishes the Empire’s presence in Lustria, his standing with the Emperor improves. This grants access to advanced Empire units and diversified building options. In this real-time strategy challenge, his ultimate goal in the Eye of the Vortex campaign is a showdown with Nakai the Wanderer.

Wulfhart's campaign progress hinges on fulfilling the Emperor's Mandate. Expansion, military victories, and other activities increase his acclaim, enhancing the quality of units available through the Imperial Supplies system and unlocking bonuses. Reach max Mandate to trigger Nakai's final challenge!

Hostility: Wulfhart's actions in Lustria won't go unnoticed. Defeating local inhabitants boosts his Imperial standing but also enrages the native denizens. Manage your Hostility rating, which reflects the intensity of Lustria's retaliation. Higher Hostility leads to increased reinforcements via Imperial Supplies, culminating in a Lizardmen task force when peak Hostility is reached.

Wulfhart's Hunters: Four legendary Hunters are scattered across Lustria. Track them down and recruit them to enhance your expedition's success. Each Hunter possesses a unique story, attributes, and powerful abilities unlocked through special missions. These Hunters are not required for campaign completion, but provide significant benefits to the Huntsmarshal's Expedition.

New Units and Characters:

Markus Wulfhart: A ranged combatant specializing in hunting large monsters, with Vanguard Deployment, Stalk, and immunity to psychology. He excels at ambushes and has a reduced upkeep for Huntsmen and Archers in his army.

Huntsman General (Lord): Mirroring Wulfhart, Huntsman Generals boast Vanguard Deployment, Stalk, and bonus damage against large targets. They synergize well with Bright Wizards and enhance the reload rate of Imperial missile units.

Archers: The backbone of Wulfhart's hunts, these inexpensive and plentiful archers excel at soaking enemy formations with ranged damage. Their loose formation allows them to effectively trade fire. This is a classic strategy game unit.

Deathjacks (Archers – Regiments of Renown): Elite archers with Stalk, Snipe, and Vanguard Deployment, allowing them to strike unseen and remain hidden from retaliation.

Huntsmen: Versatile archers with Vanguard Deployment, Stalk, and the ability to fire while moving, dealing bonus damage to large targets. With this fantasy war game unit, noone is safe.

White Wolves (Huntsmen – Regiment of Renown): Elite Huntsmen who combine bow skills with melee capabilities, granting them a hybrid role. They encourage nearby friendlies and are immune to psychology.

War Wagon: Armored wagons packed with six riflemen armed with armour-piercing Outrider rifles. They provide mobile firepower and can be used as chariots in a pinch. This unit represents tactical war strategy.

War Wagon (Mortar): Mobile artillery pieces that can reposition quickly to bombard the foe.

The Black Lions (War Wagon - Helblaster Volley Gun – Regiment of Renown): A devastating mobile light artillery piece that can unleash a hail of rounds until the last second, then reposition to avoid melee.

Nakai the Wanderer (Spirit of the Jungle)

Unique Faction Mechanics:

New Horde Mechanics: Nakai's faction features a unique Horde gameplay variant. Armies in Encampment stance can develop settlement infrastructure, preserved when the horde moves. Nakai's personal horde can unlock units, which other hordes can then recruit using Global Recruitment, making your decisions important to your whole faction's potential.

Defence of the Great Plan: Nakai defends the Great Plan of the Old Ones. He starts with a vassal faction, the Defenders of the Great Plan, who care for the Temple Cities. Regions can be gifted to the Defenders, with a temple dedicated to a specific Old One, granting powerful rewards to Nakai and unlocking Blessed Spawnings units and higher-ranked Lords.

Warmblood Invaders: Protect the temple cities from avaricious warmbloods by tracking down and confronting them. In the Eye of the Vortex campaign, Nakai must reclaim Lustria from Empire colonies, battling four dangerous Hunters and their leader in a final confrontation.

Unique Rites: Nakai has a selection of new Rites focused around his units, faction mechanics, and campaign focus.

• Rite of Alleigance: Increases vassal income and horde replenishment rates.
• Rite of Rebirth: Increases horde growth, reduces construction costs, and reduces unit recruitment and upkeep costs.
• Rite of Mastery: Improves the recruitment rank, weapon strength, and armor of Kroxigors, Kroxigor Ancients, and Sacred Kroxigors. In this epic strategy game, your rituals affect your army's power.

New Units and Characters:

Nakai the Wanderer: A powerful brawler with high armour, health, melee attack, and weapon strength. He enhances Kroxigors and Sacred Kroxigors in his army and provides support abilities in battle, including Miasma of Despair, Primal Roar, and Golden Tributes.

Ancient Kroxigors: Well-armoured, hard-hitting anti-infantry specialists suited to extended melee.

Feral Dread Saurian: With breathtaking weapon damage and high armour, these towering behemoths are elite-killing melee powerhouses subject to Rampage - your ultimate monster strategy asset!

Dread Saurian (Howdah): Titanic beasts ridden by Skink skirmishers, combining melee power with blowpipes and poisoned javelins for a versatile multirole unit.

Shredder of Lustria (Dread Saurian Howdah – Regiment of Renown): A one-unit army with rank nine stats, Encourage, and a leadership-reducing hex aura.

Sacred Kroxigors: Versatile and hard-hitting monstrous infantry with high weapon strength and magical attacks, effective against a variety of foes.
