Singleplayer Campaign "First Contact": What if aliens arrived on Earth? Experience the story-driven "First Contact" campaign as Specialist Aiden Rudwell, a NATO drone operator investigating a massive alien vessel. Your mission: uncover the aliens' identity and purpose. Engage in field science, electronic warfare, and combat reconnaissance in authentic Arma 3 style, as conflicting interpretations and a region-wide blackout threaten to ignite a global conflict. This military simulation plunges you into the heart of an unparalleled event, with your choices determining the fate of humanity.

Livonia Terrain: Explore a sprawling 163 km² Eastern European terrain, featuring dense forests, open fields, and intriguing landmarks. The partly abandoned Nadbór region of Livonia, a landlocked NATO member bordering several nations, provides the perfect setting for combined arms warfare. Discover new structures, props, and natural objects, creating an immersive and strategic environment for your Arma 3 operations.

Two New Factions: Engage with the Livonian Defense Force (LDF) and Russian Spetsnaz, two highly capable military factions. The LDF sports distinctive woodland 'geometric' camouflage and high-end protective gear, while the Russian Spetsnaz operators feature lightweight two-tone suits and durable helmets. Each faction is augmented with reskinned Arma 3 assets, unique character faces, and authentic radio protocols.

Five New Weapons: Expand your arsenal with five diverse weapons. The LDF wields the Promet Assault Rifle, a modular bullpup known for its detachable carry handle and under-barrel attachments. The Russian Spetsnaz utilizes the RPK-12 Light Machine Gun with a 75-round drum magazine and the lightweight AKU-12 Rifle. Civilian hunting enthusiasts bring the Mk14 Classic Hunting Rifle and the Kozlice Shotgun, a break-barrel 12 gauge with slug and buckshot options.

Two New Vehicles: Command the ED-1 Mini UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle), a small tracked electric robot designed for CBRN Defense and Explosive Ordnance Disposal. The ED-1E science variant features sensors, a sampling laser, and a biopsy probe, while the ED-1D military variant is armed with a Disruptor shotgun. Launch Options

To play the "First Contact" singleplayer campaign, open the Arma 3 Launcher and hit the PLAY CONTACT button. Or visit the DLC section in the Arma 3 Launcher, load Arma 3 Contact there, and launch the game by clicking on the regular PLAY button. To play regular Arma 3 but want access to the assets from the Contact expansion, launch Arma 3 without loading Arma 3 Contact as optional DLC.
