In BARK, experience the world through the eyes of an innocent Jack-Russel Terrier trapped in an abusive home. You must fulfill your basic needs to bark, sniff, chase, and discover treats while desperately trying to escape your oppressive surroundings.

Unleash Your Canine Abilities

BARK features unique mechanics centered around dog-like abilities:

Barking: Master the art of barking! Use your woofs strategically to scare away pesky cats, but be warned – your owner won't appreciate the noise. Barking can earn you points but will agitate your owner and surrounding threats.

Sensing: Tap into your sixth sense to see the aura of important objects. Use 'Sense' to find guidance and identify danger. Prepare to chase anything that flees! Chasing and marking your territory award points, but you cannot bark when sensing, and you cannot sense indefinitely.

Running and Hiding: In this stealth horror game, you are not a fighter. Hiding is your best defense. While you can run fast, the threats you face are intelligent and perceptive. Stay low, stay quiet, and utilize cunning to evade detection. Remember, running creates noise, and threats will listen for movement. Some hiding places may become too dangerous as threats investigate the environment.

Points: Earn points by barking at cats, engaging in chases, marking territory, and collecting treats. Points translate into character boosts at the end of each chapter, improving your abilities and making the game's terrors slightly more manageable.

Your Owner: Your owner is the primary source of terror. Endure his abuse and plan your escape. Be careful, as your barking agitates him, and he has keen senses. Stealth and silence are crucial to avoiding his wrath.

Neighboring Dogs: Venture into the dangerous territory of larger, more aggressive dogs. Avoid direct confrontation, as they will attack without hesitation. Proceed with caution when encountering these beasts.
