Synopsis: A Descent into Psychological Suspense

After five years as a professional illustrator, Shen Mo has achieved critical acclaim, yet his life is rapidly unravelling. Battling a haze of substance abuse and teetering on the edge of a nervous breakdown, he finds his world further complicated by his girlfriend and producer, Lin Wei. Her sudden transition from a supportive partner to a cold, manipulative overseer forces Shen Mo into a haunting new project: Greyed-out. When he refuses to draw disturbing, macabre scenes, a explosive confrontation leaves him collapsing under immense psychic pressure.

Upon waking, Shen Mo finds his vision fading into a monochrome blur, only to discover a woman claiming to be Lin Wei sitting by his side. Unlike the woman who tormented him, this version of Lin Wei is gentle, bashful, and eerily affectionate, mirroring the early days of their romance. However, Shen Mo’s latent Hyper-Perception mechanic detects a sinister dissonance. As he struggles to reconcile this mystery, he realizes that the reality he perceives is fracturing. Every tactile interaction, from holding her hand to discovering how she entered his locked home, triggers jarring visual distortions, pulling him deeper into a dark, inescapable puzzle.
