While there's no penalty for death in the traditional sense, frequent demise means missed opportunities. You can traverse the layers through portals of death, but you lose the chance to accumulate valuable resources. Like a distorted version of the American Dream, hope – or the next layer – always exists. But beware, you WILL face the void gods, and they are incredibly challenging to defeat.

Collect Sigils and Snatch Souls

Sigils are essential for casting powerful spells and safely traversing between layers. Liminal entities pose a threat, as they can kill you with a single touch. However, these entities contain souls that can be snatched and used to fuel your magical arsenal. Snatch enemy souls to power your spells and increase your chance of survival!

Beware the Flashing Lights (Epilepsy Warning)

WARNING: Liminal Void contains intense flashing lights and screen effects and animations. This game is NOT suitable for individuals with epilepsy or photosensitive conditions! There are no safe modes or settings that remove flashing lights.
